1948
The merger between M. Fero Construction and the Italian designer M. Fusi produced the Aurora 8. In 1948 the new model was presented for the first time at the Turin Auto Show. It built the first prototype for the Italian company Costruzione Automobili e Motoscafi Srl in Como. The Turin Salon was offered for purchases, with a 40% deposit, but a production was never started. The prototype had a flathead 1068 cc 8-cylinder inline engine and performance was 60 hp at 6000 rpm. Unusual were the independent suspension with coil springs, tube frame chassis, the aerodynamics for six passengers, a steering wheel in the middle of the vehicle and a plexiglass roof that could be electrically dimmed with an aperture. A series did not take place and never went into any production.
