1952 - 1957
Chiorda was based in Bergamo and founded in 1952. Chiorda introduced a new 100 cc bike with a four-stroke engine with two cylinders side by side, with excellent lines presented them at the Salone di Milano in 1954. In 1957, they build a 48 cc moped called the Arlecchino, with telescopic suspension and a three-speed gearbox. The sport version Arlecchino could reach 70 km/h. Later, Chiorda would be taken over by Bianchi and relaunched still under the Chiorda brand.
