1948 - 1966
ISO (Isothermos) initially were manufactures of refrigerators and accessories for railways, then Isothermos bought the rights to the Ferret scooters. In 1950 they introduced a modified cylinder doubled to 123 cc version two-stroke engine, which followed a separate second lubrication system and a transmission shaft. The engine was also used for the Isetta, later built under license by BMW. In 1961 they launched a number of motorcycles from 125 cc to 200 cc, two years later, ISO passed on to the production of luxury cars.
